Default 4.9L to 5.0L swap

Hello, new to the forum. Actually new to ANY forum. A buddy of mine has a 1994 F150 Regular Cab Short Bed 2wd 4.9L 5 speed. Truck is bone stock. We been talking about it for a while and finally built up the nerve to actually do a V8 swap. Originally we were going to use my 460 Berkeley Packajet that's been built and got super excited about it but realized after buying a tranny, driveshaft, rear end, and all the other stuff not mentioning fabrication work we decided it's best if we keep it simple for 3 reasons... he can't have his truck out of commission more than 4-5 days.. it's still going to be his daily driver. And we don't want to spend more than we can just buy another F150 for lol So we decided to go with a FI 5.0 swap out of roughly the same year truck. My local junkyard has great prices on 5.0L engines with excellent guarantees. We might tinker with it and do some bolt ons but the engine will be mostly stock. My question is... if we have the FI 5.0L and all the wiring and harnesses etc in front of us.. what needs to be done to do the swap? I'm not asking for a step by step process just a basic parts list or things that will need to be modified or changed. I know a 4.9 to 5.0 swap isn't rocket science. We just want to be prepared. If someone could help that would be great but if there's a detailed forum elsewhere by all means point me in the right direction. And please reframe from saying it isn't worth it or why not just buy another truck... this truck is not only rust free and super straight (we live in Florida!) it's sentimental to him. Plus he's a V8 guy. If it had 50HP and got 2 mpg he would swap it for the sound alone lol thanks ahead to anyone who chimes in.

Might as well get a 5.8 instead. Same motor mounts as a 5.0 and the Bell housing is identical to the 5.0 and 4.9.
look for one from an identical year truck as the one you have.
Yank old motor/wiring harness/computer.
Yank the old motor mounts.
Bolt on 5.0/5.8 motor mounts
Bolt in 5.8 motor
Put 5.8 computer in the old spot
connect 5.8 wiring harness.
if you have a stick shift, it's as easy as that.
Will need to run new exhaust as you please.
Possibly need 5.0/5.8 specific fuel pumps but I would think not.

94 4.9 runs at the same pressure as a v8.
