In their formula they used a 1:1 transmission gear I think. Most of our automatic transmissions have an overdrive.

I would say 4.10s for your uses, I ran 3.55's in my last truck(302) with 33x12.5 TSL Bogger SS, THAT was a dog, but she got along alright, so I'd say 4.10s would be best.

If I get the 35s and keep the 3.55s ik the truck will be sluggish and mpg will be terrible but will the 4.10s bring just the power back or some of the mpg too

i wouldnt keep the 3.55s with 35s. mine with 33s is bad enough, wont stay in overdrive against a hard wind or up steep hills

I had 33X12.50 with stock 3.31 gears lol. wasn't really that bad. 4.11s should be great with 35's. you could probably even go 3.73 if your worried about gas, and still be doing alright.

perhaps you should just get the 35's and drive it around a bit stock and see how it goes.

fill in all your info, factory in the first column, then what you want to do in the second one. you can move rpms, speeds, and what not around,

For sure 4.10's, whoever ran 3.31s is nuts! My truck couldn't hold overdrive with 3.55s at even the slightest hill, 4.10s will help your mileage and power
