i would call that a problem at all. there is no way to convert it since you don't what tranny they used. but it is a good estimate of where your rpm's will be, at least in relation to other gears.

I don't get on the highway much, but my truck tends to run a little over 2k at 70mph, so that is pretty close to what you have now.
