Im thinking about maybe converting my 96 to 4wd. Its got 300 I6 with the M5OD and I have an idea of what parts I would need, but if anyone could give me a parts list that I would need for my model, from other models/years that would be appreciated

Search some threads, there are hundreds of them covering parts list and some who have done the conversion themselves.

But basically you will need the entire front suspension system with matching axles, drive shafts and transmission with transfer case or rebuild yours to fit one.
