1996 power mirror wiring diagram ?
Hi guys, got a buddy doing a frame off on a 96 350 4x4. Truck came with power windows and locks but manual mirrors. We want to add in the mirrors. It looks like we'll have to rob part of a harness from a 150 because the 350 doesn't have the wiring for mirrors. That's not a problem, I've got a couple of power door wiring harnesses (and the cab is stripped out, sandblasted and ready for paint), so no problem adding that bit in.
I would like to have a printout of the wiring diagram for the mirrors just for the sake of diligence, so if anybody has a copy of that in their files, I'd appreciate your posting it.

Hey Chris do you know if the f150's that come with power windows/locks are pre-wired for the power mirrors - can i just grab the switch and mirrors from a yard and plug them in?

This 350 wasn't - there's an extra bunch of wires that weren't there. You'd have to pull your switch or maybe your door panels and see if the plug is there for the mirrors.
The you need the switch and the bezel.
The plugs for the mirrors have 3 wires - see the colours above.
Hopefully for you the F150 will be plug and play - I'm thinking that maybe the 350 wasn't because of commercial applications ?
If it's not there I think you'll want to take a power harness apart to get the mirror wiring and plugs.
