bias ply tires only have nylon cords
radal tires have metal

radal tires are much better then bias ply tires
and you cant really find bias ply tires anymore

as far as your other questions i hope the next guy that reads your post

the cords in tires offer more support for the tires
the nylon cords offer less support then metal cords
also metal cords offer better puncture protection
radial tires also have nylon cords in them as well

as far as wear i think they are both about the same

i THINK when the phrase "makes your vehicle walk", means that the sidewalls on the tires flex around curves and makes it lean kinda bad, which can result in hopping sideways around curves.... my truck leans like hell around curves, but i've never had it hop and go sliding before... and i tend to be rough on it in curves at times haha

Bias ply are still available, mostly used for trailer tires. You would have to ask the person what they meant by "makes the vehicle walk" but I would assume they mean the vehicle likes to wander.

alright, thanks guys. so for $300 - 32x11.50x15, very thick tires, tread is about 90% and have less than 5,000 miles on them. bias (nylon) already on deepwell wheels. is this worth it. the wheels them selves make me want the tires even more. haha. what do you guys think? go for it, or hold out for other tires?

Bias refers to the cord construction, Radial tires the cord go the same direction radially around the tire. Bias tire cross in a diagonal pattern with each ply going the opposite direction of the previous forming a crossing patter. Bias ply tires tend to walk more due to more deformation of the tread compared to the sidewall. Bias ply tires take some more to roll and the sidewall deforms less leading to a stiffer riding tire. There is also a belted Bias tire that has the steel belts common on radial tires between the sidewall belts and tread layer, these tend not to wander as much.

i did buy them, and shall post a pic soon. they fit great and "fill in the wheel wells" quite nicely. although if i hit a bump extremely hard, the front fender wells come down and touch the tire, but the lift is on its way in the mail so not a problem since i only am going to be driving on the road. lol. it does make my truck kinda do weird stuff. i also have this question - My wheel bearing is loose and after i put the new big tires on there it sounds like the wheel is wobbling and going to fall off, like if the lugnuts were loose. but i tightened them down, then lifted the truck back up and tightened them some more, but it still is loud. can it sound this way because of the wheel bearing???
