Default 1995 ford f-150 4.9l - knock sensor - help please

Hello All,

I am in need of a little help here.

I have a 1995 ford f150 with the 4.9L motor.

I am looking for the knock sensor for the 4.9L motor. If anyone out there has a blown 4.9 motor that is junk I would like to purchase the sensor from you.. The sensor I need is located on the driver side right next to the distributor ( goes into the block / 2 prong connector)..

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks to all,

Ant-knee

I've never seen an ant knee. Every time I look at them with my magnifying glass they burst into flames.

I have heard that it is not realy needed as well,

I just rebuilt this motor & would just rather have it.. It would make me feel better .. I guess if I can't get one, I will have to do without it..

Is it for sure not needed?

Thanks Ant...

I would want it too. If I really couldn't get one anywhere I would make one work that I could get. How different can they be? But yes junkyard first. There are plenty of junkyards that will ship parts.
