Power Door Lock Rivet Broken

Since I bought the truck, the rivet that holds the power door lock motor in place has been broken where it is supposed to be riveted to the door. I have tried to disconnect it so I could drill it out and secure it with a bolt. Any ideas on how to disconnect it from the other linkage to get it out?
Also, this is on the drivers side door.

I switched both my dead power locks in my '90 Lariat with working junkyard ones. The top of the shaft has somewhat of an S shape, you gotta unplug it first then kinda move it to a 80-90şish angle and try to move it forward & backward while wiggling it out (sorry this sounds so wrong lmfao), but seriously its tricky and took me a while at first, but its real easy once you get the first one out.

disconnect the door key lock by removing the shim.
then slide off the door key lock.
unscrew the latch philips head screws.
remove the large rivet for the electronic lock motor.
pull out the entire unit together.
replace rivet with bolt.
reinstall.
that is how i took care of mine, my hands were too big to get in there and work inside the door.
