Your truck doesn't have a MAF sensor. No need to remove the K&N anyways.

yeah sean is right 5.8s dont have MAF.. i was corrected on this not too long ago. but why do you say no need to remove the K&N? because there is no MAF?

The oil isn't going to dirty up the MAF and as long as it's the drop in then it's a good upgrade.

Ok so where does that leave me? Wait till I have the exhaust leak corrected and reset Neg battery term? What about a vacuum leak in system causing this problem?
