1995 F150 4x4 plow with 4" lift and 33's
Not really a new member but this is my first post on the F150 forum.
Long story short, I have owned this truck for about two years, towed it home not running. It is a 1995 XLT plow truck with 163,000 miiles on the clock.
Before:
Two weeks ago:
Needed a little suspension work:
Now:
Installed 3.55 front with traclock and rear with LS, all new ball joints, tie rods, radius arm bushings, 4" Rough Country suspension lift and 33's.
Still a work in progress, needs a little TLC.
Still to come:
What do you think?
Thanks for looking.

Still to come:
Radiator core support and front fenders.
Shackle flip (to remove lift blocks)
Eventually tranmission and engine rebuild
Main goals are to make it a rock solid dependable snow pushing machine.Shackle flip (to remove lift blocks)
Eventually tranmission and engine rebuild
What do you think?

I was just pointing out you said "a little duty". Did you mean light duty, a little light duty, etc.?

Not going to get into the 1/2 to 3/4-1 ton snow plow debate, around here plenty of people prefer short wheelbase 1/2 tons for maneuverability while plowing.
I will not be plowing commercially, only my drive (250') and my moms (300+'). In a normal year I will only plow 4-5 times. I live in a rural setting on a dirt road, probably the last road in the county to get plowed. County plow trucks usually get stuck at lease once a year on my road. It is ~1 mile to the nearest main road. At times making it hard to get to work. Last year was not a normal year, several storms left 12-18" of snow, with drifting 2'+. Truck did well with worn out tires and open differentials. This year should be much better.
