OK i have read most of the threads on chimes bit mine is a bit different. I have a 98 F150 and the chime goes off when it should,normally, but it also goes off when the driver door is opened (never when the passenger door is opened) and i made sure the lights were not on, and it will continue to ding until the door is shut. Any ideas? And NO keys in the ignition.
