Default 1993 f150 highway rpms?

I just bought a 1993 f150 with a 302, E4od, 31X10.50 tires, and 3.55 gears in it. I noticed at about 60mph I am running at 2000rpm. To me this seems slightly high. My 1995 f150 with the same set up just has a 351 in it runs around 1700 at 60mph. Is this normal highway rpms for a 302, or am is there something im missing here?

That seems about right, was your other truck, maybe 3.08 gears, that would explain it.

Checked gears, gears are 3.55s no doubt. I know the 95 has the bigger engine, doesn't mean its gonna run higher rpms. Was thinking maybe the engine mapping was different between the 302 and 351 causing it to run higher down the highway to keep up the power? And yes, both have 3.55 gears, im pretty sure the 302 has the e4od because the 351 does and the trans pan is the same on both of them.

I've got 3.08s and 31s, I can run 75mph at 2000rpm. 60 is a whopping 1600.

I had no idea 3.55s made that big of a difference! I still want them

Yes 2000 rpm is normal for your engine/gear/transmission setup.
