I did my front brakes today. the driver side Brake Splash Shield was so rusted it was rubbing the rotor and falling apart. i took it off. Should I replace both of them? If so where could i find them?
I have read different things about the Brake Splash Shield. some people took them off and had no problems.

Cheapest place to get them is the junkyard or car-parts.com, as for there usefulness or need to have them I can't comment. Both of mine are on, too bad it isn't the passenger side b/c I have an extra one of those you could have for the cost of shipping.
