Default uh oh

Star-date log: rear end......

So, i like chrome. What looks better on a rear end, nice shiny chrome.
Today was the day for my new chrome diff cover. Upon removal of the cover i decided to take a close look at the gears, figured what the hell i'm in there why not take a look? Happy to say, glad i did! The spider gears were toast!

What was a simple chrome cover turned into, spider gears, carrier bearings, and outer axle seals. Oh well, i will ride in comfort knowing the rear end has been newly improved. Doing the job myself saved in the long run $$$$$

Rear gear is a 3:55

I totally agree with you, its an improvement that is rarely added to many builds, its a win win when its done!

ok, so this is where i was confused, This is a 4x4, you would think it would be a limited slip? The gear thats in there is a one wheel peel. The diff cover that i removed has RTV sealer, i'm thinking if it was a limited slip it was removed and this gear was put in before i bought the truck or this is simply the gear that came in the truck new? Anyone else have a one wheel peel in their 4x4?

By the way whats a "haus"? lol
