1993 F-150 wont start

Hey everyone, I have a 93 F-150, 5.0, AOD transmission with roughly 187k on it. Went to leave this morning and the engine would spin but not start. I checked the fuel pressure, it was around 40 at the rail. I also checked spark, which is has. The rotor in the dizzy is also spinning. Ive never had this trouble with this truck before, its always started right up. I also ran troubles on it, doesnt have any. Heres a list of things I've done to it in the last year ignition wise.

MSD Ignition coil
MSD distributor cap and rotor
MSD plug wires

So I'm kinda at a loss here. I also used the search to single out some things but now I'm stuck again. If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Could it be a timing issue ?

Maybe the timing chain streched or broke ?

I took the distributor cap off and checked the rotor inside and it was spinning when I cranked the truck over so it's not a broken timing chain, I'm wondering if I have a weak coil.

Could be ..... :)

I'm kind of old skool before the electronics came in. Back in the day if you had fuel & fire and the motor wouldn't catch one thing to check was the timing.

Sometimes a timing belt or chain would stretch. Othertimes, the distributor would jump a tooth and throw it off. With 187 k. on the motor it does seem concievable that the internal moving parts would wear.

Just a thought was all. It might be something else completely different.

I appreciate the help man, timing crossed my mind as well, I need to invest in a timing light tho. But I did figure out the problem, the coil was giving too weak of a spark I guess. I put the new coil in and she fired right up. I will doing a timing chain and gears next tho, I'm sure it won't be fun lol. Thanks for the help man!!
