Firewall leaking
Just repurchased a 96 F150 I bought new.
It now has 216,000 miles on it but still runs and drives great, it is a beauty too!
But it has been leaking between the firewall and the cab.
I pulled off the windshield wiper cowling and found the goo Ford used to seal it from the factory dry and cracked. I pulled the sticky stuff out and found my holes. Fixed them but I would like to put the goo back in new.
The seam in there is not crowned to the center so it will hold water and I don''t see any easy sure way to fill it without using the original stuff.
Anyone got any experience with this?
