Now if this was a TurboHydramatic 400 I would say the clutches are worn out. Like I said above I am not that knowledgable about Ford Auto's.

Went and check the price of a rebuilt transmission for your 1993 and it would cost a much and rebuilding it what you have. With all of the 8th generation F150's out there you should be able to find a good used transmission.
