Hey everyone, im lookin to convert my 91 f150 xlt lariat 2wd to a 4wd, the donor truck i got is a 88 f150 xlt lariat 4x4, both trucks have the C6 tranny, same motor, only real difference is the 4x4 is a short bed. What all would i have to buy and whats the dificulty of making the switch? Any advice is appreciated, this is my first big project for Martha (the Ole green Hagg)

You should have everything on the 4x4 to do it except the rear driveshaft.
hopefully you're dealing with a manual shift transfer case. If that's not what you have you should find one. wiring in an electric shift t/case is not worth the trouble.

I think the donor has the manual floor shifter (donor truck is down in cali still), ill hit the scrap yard for the rear drive shaft as money allows, thanks Chris.
