Default How Much Lift Do I Have?

I'm shopping for shocks and I think I need to know the amount of lift the PO installed. I know there is 2 inches of body lift but unsure if the suspension is 4" or 6".

I think if I measured the top of the wheel well arch from the ground and then compared those numbers to stock I could get an idea.

Anyone have any thoughts or advice?

I'm not sure if measuring from the ground to the wheel well arch will help much. Springs eventually sag and will throw the numbers off.

I'm sure someone on here will tell you a way of figuring it out exactly.

Understood about the sag, when I put a lift on my jeep, thats what the manf of the lift had me do, measure before and after a the apex of the wheel well arch.

You got stock tires and wheels in there? That'll throw off your test too...

Look at your rear axle and front springs. Was the lift a spacer and block lift?? If so, just measure either one.

The tires are 35s so yea that would throw it off,,, but I can do the math between stock and the 35s. Then theres the body lift and I can do the math there too.

There's no spacers, it's all springs... add a leaf in the back and bigger coils up front.

I think it's a rancho lift, maybe if I look around I can find a part number on it some where...

Look at your drop brackets. If its on the top hole, youve got a 4", if its on the bottom hole, 6".

Most of the drop brackets have the holes for 4 or 6 inch lift. Those do not.

Okay. Measure from the old ttb mounting point to the old one. The difference is your lift.
