I don't think it has an official name. You just have to explain what you need. The parts places, NAPA Oreillys Advance Auto Parts etc, will hopefully have one on hand. Call around until you find one.

Check you have power to the coil. regular test light, clip to ground probe the + side of the coil. IF you have power, check that the distributor is actually turning.
Check the cap and rotor real close for faults or burn traces.
Check the coil & spark plug wires with an ohmeter to make sure they carry current.
Remove the coil and have it tested (or replace with a known working one).
Still nowhere - it will probably be at the distributor.
There are ways to test the dist. pickup and the icm but you will need an LED test light.
That's the order I would approach it with.

That's the tool I got. Makes it easy to get change the ICM. Also, I'm not sure if your module is mounted on the distributor or on the fender. They changed at some point. And the parts store may try and give you the wrong icm. Make sure it's the same color as the one that came off. There's a difference between the grey and the black module. The parts store can bench test it if you take it off and bring it in. Have it tested before you buy a new one. An ignition coil is cheap, but the icm is pricey. My coil tested good (all you can do is check the ohm readings) but it was actually bad, so keep that in mind.
