1990 F150 Lariat
So adding to my F150 collection here... I saw this 1990 F150 Lariat with the 5.8L 4x4 for next to nothing so I brought it home. Drives great, has a few oil leaks but nothing too bad. 4 wheel drive at least high works, manual hubs.
Had a 91 F150 Custom years ago with the 300 I6 and the 5 speed, rubber floor and crank windows. This truck is like a luxury liner compared
I added a factory gauge cluster with a Tach, always wanted one with my other truck. Had to go through 3 junk yard clusters before one worked. 2 of the clusters the tachs would just go to 3k when i started it. Turned off it would sit where is was supposed to. I thought it was my wiring, but it was just the clusters.
Got the interior cleaned up a bit, got the exterior just washed. Replaced the drivers power window motor, a quick test light verified it was just the motor.
Still have a few items to work though. I keep blowing the tail lights and dash lights fuse. Looking at the additional wiring job in the back for trailer lights, has me thinking I have a good place to start... Drivers power lock is intermittent, and she needs some rust repair. I got the panels. Time to try my hand at welding.
Enjoy some pics. You can see my 2011 Lariat with the 6.2 hiding in the background.
Any suggestions on the easiest way to clean up and polish these Aluminum rims? I did get some new lug nuts and center caps.

Got the rims clean d up and polished. Got the diffs topped off and the transfer case. Also got the rear shocks replaced and the tail lights working again. Had issues with the previous owner trying to install an trailer harness.
Enjoying this truck.

If you ever swap it out I'd probably buy it from you.

Stopped at a thrift store in the city 2 days ago and there was a nice clean factory Ford AM/FM Cassette player there for $5. My truck already has one so I just passed it over. Kinda wish I would have grabbed it now as I would have gladly sent it over.

Not bad for $5 even if it wasn't working.
