Default 1987 Ford F150 5.0- accelerator cable

I love this old beater truck, I do. It's reliable and tough as nails, in fact, nails often use the analogy that something is as tough as this '87 Ford. However, I now have to replace the throttle cable and this is going to be an entirely new experience for me. Just replaced the cable on my '92 a few weeks ago. Literally took about 10 minutes. Not a bad job at all. There were 2 different lengths to choose from, for my model. I had to take it off and measure it, then order one, since the parts store didn't have them in stock. Not sure if yours is much different than mine, but it was straight forward and super easy to change out.
