i took off right below 2000 rpm, took it up to 4000 and took 3rd rest of the way. i also beat my friends 2003 acura cl 0-60 the other day, which made me smile.
I have a 1995 F-150 Day Cab, 8-foot bed, 5.0 5-speed Mazda w/2.73 locked rear end. 225/75/15 My zero to 60 time is 7.6 seconds and I beat my friends Honda Civic V-Tec Coupe! 0-30~ in 1st, 2nd to 50 and 3rd to 75~ and fourth to top speed of 96 mph with gov. without gov 4th to 102 and fifth to 122. I use a gps to do speed test, so top speed is accurate within +/- 3 mph

Yep and lift the front end up a little as well (Not off the ground.)

Only problem is with the current wheels and tires. It's like driving on ice when it's raining.
