Hi, just an intro. Here is my Oxford White 2024 Raptor. Love the truck. Only 6118 mies on it to date. Thought I would up scale, I ordered a 2026 Raptor R, Avalance in color. Waiting for the Vin from Ford and scheduled delivery. I have a question about warranty. I see that Granger seems to be quite popular and I looked up my dealer, says it honors Granger. I see most people talk about the Premium Protect plan, does that include led, key fob, electrical and what is meant by High Tech? Also does anyone get the Premium Maintenance Plan? Any issues with these warranty companies or claims if issues have occurred? I don't want to be a captive customer in the finance dept. Thanks for any info.

My name is Bob Butcher, and I live in Colorado. I have about 65 years experience working on all kinds of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. I purchased a 1990 F-150 FWD with 5.0 engine and 5 speed manual transmission a few years ago, with a blown engine. I obtained a donor block and rebuilt it to factory spec. Unfortunately it has a flat tappet cam, and I know modern oils lack the zinc needed for long life on flat tappet cams. Someday If lthe cam fails, I will convert to a roller cam.
I am a retired electrical engineer, and have a home workshop with metal lathe, CNC knee mill, TIG welder, and lots of other tools.
As an engineer I like to build things and design things.

Good morning I am a new member from southern Delaware. I recently bought a used 2022 f150 XLT and love the truck . Being that I live in southern Delaware I like to drive on the beach for fishing and the OE tires on it are pretty much shot which are the Goodyear wranglers and I would like to get something else. Truck has under 50000 miles so tires should do better than that and also need something for driving on the beach and in Delaware the sand is soft. Any suggestions?

Hello to the collective. 1987 F-150 with 60k on the clock and likely an accurate mileage. I purchased this truck from the maintenance dept. of Little Debbie and I'm the 2nd owner. Straight 6, manual transmission, with a working Tommy Gate on the back. Paint has several rusty patches from being parked next to the sugar silos at the bakery. A rust-through on the driver side floor board that will need a patch welded in. Truck has sat for about 4 years at the first home I've ever owned. Going to need some work on it to make it road worthy. I'm a retired tool and die maker with a small machine shop in the basement. Very happy to be here and looking forward to learning (my first Ford truck) and contributing when appropriate. Thanks for allowing me to be here.

Thanks for allowing me into the group. I've owned a 1997 F 150 since 1998. It's an XLT trim level with the third door.
(which just broke the rear door release mechanism for the second time)
I'm looking to purchase a new F 150 and was hoping to gain some insight into special ordering.
It seems all they have around here on the lots are 4X4's or the high end trim levels.

Completely new here. Long time owner of this particular truck. I love it but it never occurred that it might be weird. Just curious, It's a 1998 2 wheel drive single cab flare side short bed with a 4.6 V8, manual transmission and the XL trim. I've just been hearing that the V8, manual combo is weird and most manuals didn't have cruise control and power windows. Again it seems like I've seen other ones but I'm not sure. Is this a strange combo and would anyone have any idea how many were put together like this?

A little about me. I�m a Civil Engineer guy specializing in Power Generation and diesel engines and electrical systems. Have a new to me 2015 ford f150, Nissan Armada, wife a 17 golf r and my KB twin screw 01 Viper ACR. I do electronics, RC�s, woodworking, car building (rat rod or classic stuff) for fun. Stationed overseas USAF in Germany and retiring here in the next year or two. Glad to be a part of the group and hoping to have some fun with the f150 if I can get anything shipped!

New to Ford ownership, but not new to Fords. I handle purchasing for my local county and spent five years driving a 2012 while working in building maintenance, so I�ve gotten to know them pretty well. Over the years I�ve owned GM, Dodge, and Datsun trucks, plus cars from GM, Honda, Toyota, and VW�and a handful of motorcycles for good measure. Safe to say I�m a gearhead at heart and looking forward to learning more from the community.

Hello Ford Truck fam!

I am retired military and recently purchased an 1994 F-150 XLT. I needed a new hobby and decided that this truck would be my hobby. It has a few engine mods (Edelbrock Performer headers and intercooler). I have no documentation for the mods and I can see myself coming here to pick the brains of the collective experience on these forums. I know enough about basic maintenance and that is about it.
