Have a Gen 2 Raptor (2017) that I recently bought. Since owning it, I have not been able to get the 360 camera working. It has the 802 a package and all of the cameras seem to be in good condition. I have tried to use FORSCAN to see if there are any codes or errors, but I can’t even seem to get the IPMB module to load in FORSCAN. It does look like it went in for a rear camera service at a dealership a few thousand miles ago, could there be something that was done then that would be preventing this issue from being fixed? Or is this just a, “bring it to a dealer“ issue

New here. I have a 2020 F150 and I started noticing that when I pull up to a red light and the auto stop engages, when the engine starts back I got a no oil pressure warning & the oil pressure gauge went to nothing. I turn the truck off and re-start and the oil pressure jumps right back up to normal. As long as the auto start stop is turned off oil pressure was fine. engage the auto start stop feature and the next time the engine is killed at a red light, when the engine restarts the oil pressure warning light comes on and drops to nothing. I bought a new motorcraft oil sensor and changed it out at 75k miles ( it was leaking oil also) and solved the issue. Now at 82k its started again. I just went out and unhooked the auto start stop switch and will have to get the code read to see if the new sensor has gone bad. Has anyone had a similar problem. Engine is the 3.5 twin turbo

I got a 2018 F150 XLT 2WD 2.7L and I was considering a lift or a level. I understand the lift is lifting front and back while the level is just front. I know it’s more of a personal preference, but do yall think I should lift my truck a 2” - 4” or just get the 2.25” level?

I have also done some research and found and it seems that the 2 most popular options for a lift or level are spacers or struts. What’s the major difference and which one would be better for me.

I have 136,000 miles on my 2017 F150 2.7 SCREW., The truck has had pan leaks for years and every time the dealer does an oil change it is mentioned. Strangely enough, I never had a drop on the driveway. I think it is because of the diaper panel under the engine.

I have researched this issue and resealing the pan with the factory silicone isn't effective. I have also read that a new pan was developed that has an integral gasket. The TSB covering repairs mentioned that the valve covers may leak and that may be the source. Inspection is part of the procedure.

Today I got an estimate from my dealer for the repairs. $1648.65 for the valve covers and $4121.66 for the oil pan. I know the price is higher on a 4X4 like mine because they have to drop the front axle.

My truck has a value of $9000 and having to put $5800 in for repairs is cause for thought. I love the truck and it has been trouble free since new other than a rear pinion bearing. The non effective door latch repair was done by the dealer in the past.

Any thoughts?

Hello all. I’ve been lurking here off and on primarily due to the typical Gen 3 coyote and early 10r80 issues. My extended powertrain warranty expires near the end of this year and I’m at a bit of a cross road. My engine consumes almost 1 quart in 1000 miles. I called the local dealer a couple months ago and they said over the phone that Ford considers 1 quart in 1000 miles acceptable. I will likely have them perform an oil consumption test soon, but if they say 1 quart in 1000 miles is acceptable, I am not sure what to do. I bought this truck to drive to 200k miles, and I only have 77k miles on it right now.

Does anyone here have a Gen 3 coyote oil drinker that has high mileage despite the oil consumption? My concern is that the oil consumption may affect the engine longevity, even though Ford will likely say it doesn’t. I really like my truck, but the deceleration rattle, diesel sounding tick at idle, sloppy shifting (in a rebuilt 10r80), and oil consumption (all of which Ford says is normal), have me wondering if I should trade in for a newer 5.0 or even a 6.2L F250.

On a last note, I live in California and love the fact that I can fill it up right now with E85 for $2.99 per gallon!

Any helpful opinions are appreciated.

Feel free to ask me any questions about the install or how the unit works. I'll try to take a video of what Android Auto looks like as well. I'm pretty impressed by it so far! Now that I have the newer radio preset buttons. I thought it was going to be a problem not the 2 clips on the front of the top tray above the radio. It hasn't been. The top of the trim has been holding down the front of that tray. So it hasn't been an issue at all.
$50 coupon if it helps anyone as well. Coupon code : AdamTech
If you need me to take any pictures or video of anything let me know. I do have a spare iPhone I could try out if anyone has a question on Apple carplay as well.

I discovered a unplugged electrical connector hanging from the bottom on the front passenger side. I recently purchased this 2017 5.0 and discovered this after removing the front trim under the bumper. Then found what is likely the corresponding connector behind the pass side headlight next to the radiator.

What is this for and any reason why it is disconnected? Looks like there is only 3 wires.
I did my best to superglue it back to the console and it works, but it's damn ugly. I was hoping to find another center console piece with the cupholder attached. Any ideas where I might find this?

Hello
Parked my 2015 f150 4×4 yesterday, then went to crank it today and won't turn over. In the Instrument cluster the battery symbol illuminated and had maintenance battery but I had the battery checked and it's good. Had someone tell me it's probably the starter but I always thought it gave you a warning before it went out. If anyone could give me some guidance I'd appreciate it.

I’m trying to add BLIS to my f150 2018 XLT.

heres what I have done to get it done:

Swapped both passenger and driver door wiring, and add power folding, puddle light and, blis capable mirrors. I programmed them via for-scan Lincoln style and they work great no issues.

I added the digital Cluster, and swapped to the 8” screen. Everything works great too.

Here’s what I don’t know:

To add BLIS do I need to change the rear door driver and passenger to carry the blis signal and do I need to swap out the tailgate wiring from the halogens plugs to the led connector. I did find a video of a guy doing it to add led tail lights it seems like it did work. Just plug and play.

sorry for my grammar and if you need more info please message me, I’m trying to get this to work thanks.

Got the dreaded cold start rattle a couple of months ago. Decided to tear into it and replace my Phasers with the updated ML3Z part. I also replaced both chains both tensioners and all the guides. I also replaced the water pump and the VCT solenoids. Cold start rattle is gone but now I have this non stop clacking coming from the upper valve train. When listening with a stethoscope it sounds loudest just to the right of the passenger intake phaser. I went ahead and replaced both passenger side phasers again with new ones directly from the dealership. I also put the old VCT solenoids back in. When I took the timing cover of again I’m still not seeing anything. I’ve been working on this for a little over three weeks and it’s starting to drive me crazy. Any help would be appreciated!

Is there anything I can do to get the rear camera working clearly? It recently started displaying check your surroundings when backing, but then would work. Now it will first say check your surroundings, and then the picture is very blurry with a wavy pattern.

Is it normally a defective camera and can it be replaced fairly easily?

it was replaced under the recall when the truck was under warranty. Same thing was happening then.
