You're 6th on the list who requested sport clusters but read the next paragraph to see what that means.
I haven't finalized the process for the 2018 sport conversions on new cluster sales so until I do I'm only fulfilling new cluster sales to those that requested the normal (non-sport) clusters. If anyone who requested to be on the waiting list for a 2017-2018 sport cluster would be fine with the regular blue needles & the sport gauge faces I had made, be sure to let me know as this would put you in the regular fulfillment queue immediately.
I'm trying some different red LEDs soldered on the circuit board for the needle LEDs right now and once I find some that are acceptable I will finalize the red paint for the needle pointers and only then will the people that requested sport clusters be merged in order with all 'the guys seeking 17-'18 8" clusters.
Understood. I think I will wait until you have the LEDs and the paint issue sorted out for mine. Great work by the way, on this and the Forscan work......
Well I spent all day working on the Sport conversion and got the red LEDs soldered to the circuit board that illuminate the needles, painted the needles red, installed the sport gauge faces I had made and then programmed this cluster to my own truck's mileage so I could install it and snap a picture for you guys. Again, I had to adjust the settings of my camera in the picture to have it depict the word "Sport" and the red needles pretty close to what the eye actually sees. The needles are not the slightest bit orange to the human eye and definitely red. I'm extremely happy with how the needles turned out because I went through a LOT of different shades before settling on the one I'm going to use and I think you guys will like it. So with that said, I'm ready to offer this conversion when your number on the waiting list comes up. Note: all 2017-2018 requests (sport & non-sport) 8" cluster waiting list people are now merged into one list.

You couldn't drive .2 of a mile!?
New gauges are sweet - NICE WORK
Maybe you could sell a conversion kit with the gauge faces.
I would for someone who is confident they have the SMD soldering skills & equipment but I wouldn't want to try to make this seem like an easy DIY process.

It is not a DIY, I have a hot air station and magnifier display, these LED's are tiny, I looked today when I had my cluster out to change the display faces, THAT job is a DIY, I don't think it took more than 20 minutes tops, 7mm and a t15 is all you need.
And.....pic of the finished product..............sorry for the quick Iphone shot

Lol, I feel a little better it's not just my phone camera that tries to make the word "Sport" appear orange instead of red.
