I prefer the one like I got. The other one never looked right to me, it was too boxed off.

Cool! I bet it looks killer man! I'll keep you in mind if I decide to sell it.

I pulled it off using the heat and then cleaned up the adhesive with a pin stripe removal tool. That tool makes it a LOT easier.

Yes I did. I used a heat gun to warm it up and pulled it off. Tried the fishing line trick, but didn't work that well. Some polish and elbow grease to remove the adhesive.

Scuff it and make sure it's clean and use Dupli-Color Adhesion Promoter and you should be fine. I scuffed mine up pretty good with a D.A. sander and the paint stuck real good. I just need to clear coat it and she's done. The lower valance is from a 2002 Harley F150. I actually found it behind a house that was abandoned in my neighborhood! lol I had it sprayed at a paint shop. They prepped it and sprayed it.

Sounds like you're headed in the right direction with the spindles and all. The best way to get the extra inch in the rear is to remove the overload spring. You should be happy with the ride and the look. My front was lowered with 2.5" springs and I cut an extra coil to get the stance I'm at now. Good luck and your truck looks good in the pics!
