I used 4 gauge stereo wire since it has more stands than standard battery wire. KnuKonceptz was the brand. I ran one to a bolt on the throttle body, I upgraded the factory ground locations (in front of the battery, on the frame, on the engine block) and I ran the wires to other locations under the hood that had an existing bolt, stud or bolt hole. I didn't have to modify much, I just leveraged what was already available. I truly think it's worth upgrading. I'm going to buy a ground distribution block at some point in the future and run a few more grounds. I definitely think it's worth the time and effort.

I did the ground wires first and I noticed less engine vibration and the electronics such as the turn signals seemed to flicker more consistent if that makes sense. Regarding the triple positive wires, I was experiencing a hot start problem and this cured it. Upon restarting the truck when the engine is hot, it spins over effortlessly.
