I don't know if this image will come through, but I finished my f150 emblems. I don't think I will be needing the vinyl. I pretty happy with how the grey turned out.

So I told my wife about the HIDs at the jewelry store so the lights end up costing a lot more, but my planned worked out very well. I really didn't have to here about it. I still haven't told her about the fogs. Hopefully she won't notice.

I found this on the web. I am thinking of giving it a shot. If it does work I know I can make the Plasti dip work fo show. You should give it a read the pics I seen look pretty close to the black chrome.

I was also looking at that dupli shadow, but it didn't get the greatest reviews on Amazon. I love the black chrome to. I love those black chrome rims on the camero, and I think I seen some on a ram too. I have been hoping ford would step up for years. There was some kid from Canada who did the night shade on his emblems and kid of gave it a dark Crome look.

Yeah I'm kind of torn right now. I really dig the Plasti dipped with the vinyl inlays like you have done, but I also really like the dark Crome too. I know I am gonna do a couple of coats on the third brake light and than a couple of coats of clear. But I would like to see some more emblems before I make my final decision on the emblems.

There were two holes on the trailer hitch but the bracket wouldn't sit flat mounted there I also thought about mounting It on the bumper, but I travel a lot and didn't want to give anybody any reasons to single out my truck in a hotel parking lot. So I drilled a hole in the shackle.

I'm thinking of trying a couple of coats of nightshade on my emblems what do you think? If I don't like it I can always Plasti dip them.

Knocked out the backup lights today. I think they might be a little high. But I won't know till I can see them at night. I might use the left over metal from the extension brackets to drop them down a little.
