I have a 2006 so my truck doesn't have sync or steering wheel controls.
My pioneer downloads the phonebook from my phone via bluetooth and once my phone is hooked up via bluetooth I don't have to touch it because I can answer calls and choose people to call just using the radio.
If you truck does have steering wheel controls there is a device called a pac-swi X on ebay that should work.
However, I have no idea how to help you if you have a 2009+ with sync software.
Hey man, I'm really wanting to add the Pioneer AVH P4300 to my SCrew. I absolutely do not want to sacrifice any of the steering wheel, or Sync capabilities. Does the head unit you have still allow voice phonebook dialing? Been doing a little searching on the web, but can't find a straight answer on this one. I am wanting to take my time on this one and make sure I get the right setup. Any advice you can give would be much appreciated. I realize aftermarket adapters will be a must, but just not sure where is the best place to spend my money.
