    The problem I found with a lot of the store bought ones is that they are a thinner steel, which means they wouldn't hold up under heavy impact, unless you spent like $500 or more on one. Mine is officially tried and tested now lol

    alright thanks man... if you could take a pic for me that would be awesome. i have been wanting to make a ram bar for a while now, but i was thinking if its just going to be a bumper mounted ones that arnt all that good i would just buy it....i think you might have given me something to work with now

    Lower is mounted to the Reese and frame, middle is bolted to the bumper right by the bumper mounts.
    If you look at this picture from my deer incident, you can see the L bracket coming off the bar to the bumper, the bracket is 1/4" steel

    hey man i was just wondering how you mounted your ram bar on your truck? it doesnt look like its mounted to the bumper...
