to me, yes it was worth it. i have $8,000 into a truck that blue booked for over $20,000 at the time. here in michigan it can be titled and driven as any other vehicle but it will have a rebuilt title. the repairs were done by my father and i (he owns a collision repair shop) so labor was free. we shopped around for decent used parts but for stuff that we couldnt find like the roof panel and box side we got directly from ford. if you have the means to do it and you dont mind the lower resale value of a recovered truck than in my opinion its worth it by all means.

Well I guess just was it worth it for you? Can it still be titled? I know it may be diferent from state to state but just if it was a good way to get a deal on a truck, if the parts werent to bad. Did you repair yours? Thanks for any help

Hey man saw you had a salvage title on your truck. Was wondering if you could give me any info/insight on buying one? Perry.r1984@gmail.com
