Hey brother, just checking in to see how you're doing after the accident. Hope all is good. Take care and enjoy the holidays.

Got it all buttoned up except for #8. Son of a bitch got rounded. Now I either gotta get a deep socket extractor or else send it off to the dealer for them to remove the heads. Son of a bitch! I'll be posting a write up soon.

Yeah, Ford wanted $450 for the base charge and $100 per plug if it breaks. So far only one came out normally. Still working on #4, #7 and #8.

I ran out of time (daylight) so I'm going to finish it up (hopefully) next week. If I didn't have impact tools I swear I would have never been able to do this. I got spark plugs 1, 2 and 3 out and all of them broke. With the Lisle tool removing the remaining piece was a snap. I wasn't able to get spark plug 4 out just yet, ran out of time. Also, spark plug 5 came out completely with no issues at all. Spark plug six broke but again I used the Lisle tool. 7 was stuck and I couldn't budge it and same with 8. I'll do a write on on your thread when I finish the whole thing.

Cool brother! I'm working on it as we speak. Doing plugs on a warm engine goes against everything I've known but then again I've never had to replace two-piece spark plugs on aluminum heads. I'll update you guys on how things are going on your thread. Thanks a lot brother, if this works I'll have saved a s**tload of money!

Hey brother, thanks for all the help with the differentials and spark plugs. Quick question for you, since I'm going to tackle this bitch today. You mention warming up the engine before removing the plugs. Do you wait for it to get to operating temp? Or do you wait until the needle on the temp gauge hits 1/4? Thanks!
