The 4.6 pulls hard, plenty hard for the 35's. But I have a k&n, edge programmer, and straight pipes. The extras along with my 4 speed with overdrive I turn them just fine. I actually see a difference with how fast I run and what RPMS it turns. At 60mph it used to run about 2300 rpms and now it runs at 2000 rpms in 4th gear. The only thing i noticed that went down is my breaking distance which having a manual also helps with the downshifting. I wanted to do 33's but I figured after I got them I would want the 35's and I am glad that i did not go with the 33's first cause I would have been dissappointed cause the bigger tires kick arss.

They closed that thread on 4r70 change so thats why Im just messaging you. How did you manage to get it out without taking the torsion bars out and crossmember down? And the exhaust? Did you take the transfer case out first? I know after messin with mine and bustin my knuckles up for 2 days I removed the crossmember that the trans is held up on and let the engine hold up the trans. The wieght of the trans pulled everything down and gave me plenty of room. And yeah, them damn bolts were hard to break. Had to spray pd blaster on every bolt and use a cheater pipe. Went to a trans shop and they gave an estimate of 500 to change the trans and I thought that was crazy. It wouldve been well worth it.
