Hello there..reading your posts..I like your info on the trans mount..I hav a 2WD as well..heres my problem..I roll up to the stoplight and the trans bumps as it settles down into the mount? The mount has to be very soft as mine moves as well..when i take off the drivetrain shifts..it feels like the engine mounts are soft as well..the whole engine/trans is moving big time..I was going to see if i could center drill the mount and install a limiter bolt? or even considered wraping a steel cable around the tailshaft and tighten it as tight as i can..I am in Texas and its hot/humid so I am not going to put it on the lift and modify it until fall..I like the way you welded yours and i could even go that way..but dont want the drone..I hav an exhaust note already from my engineered exhaust..took me 5 tries to get the sound i wanted..5 different exhaust systems...tell me what you are thinking bout the mount..are the engine mounts this soft as well? they look like it...
