Hey, I've seen that you have commented on several torque converter posts. If you don't mind, I have a few questions. I have a 2006 F-150 STX 4x4 with the 4.6L V8. Several months ago, I noticed a whine in the truck when I put it in gear; reverse and drive. The whine gets a little louder as I apply the throttle but it stops when it shifts into overdrive. Does this sound like a bad torque converter? And if not, does it sound like anything else? Thanks for the help!

I'm not a serious body-builder so I don't use much creatine: 6 grams on workout days and maybe 3-4 grams on some off-days. It has worked for me at that rate. My depth of endurance is improved and strength as well....265 on the bench when my right shoulder will allow. I blew out the supraspinatus tendon about two years ago and that got me off any serious weight training. Lots of reps, good form and light weight along with copious quantities of supplemental vitamin C have got the tendon pretty well healed, so I'm able to get back to a bit of extra weight.
It has been said that once a man gets beyond 55 years of age building muscle is difficult...that's true to a certain extent. If I were 20 years old and working as hard as I have during my workouts for the last few years, I'd be bigger than Lee Haney.

LOL...my man! Taking his creatine. Now don't forget the protein and a little simple carbs and you're good to go!

And that's why my parents raised me to respect my elders...'cuz they might be able to teach me a thing or two. Glad to have come across one of your many informative posts and look forward to learning some more "old dog tricks"!
