    SeeJ...I flew into Argentia on the way to Sicily..was flying on old split tail super connie..had to make lots of stops..flew next to Azores Island and then to Morroco..I understand that you have to buy Foreign made products as everyone is closing up shop in America...Visegrip pliers..sold out to Irwin tools, sold plant and they are now made in China..and then they wonder why the high unemployment....

    Thanks for the PM. Glad to hear you have fond memories of NL. 1962 was a while ago. Did you fly into Gander? Were you stationed here? Argentia? Pleasantville?
    It's tough to get away from things made in China (India, Pakistan, Taiwan, Korea ...). When folks work for a dollar a day Walmart (and others) is there buying. It puts downward pressure on wages in developed economies and we all feel it.
