Hey bill i keep seeing your posts throughout this site so i figured i would ask you directly. I have a 97 150 with a 5.4 with 143000 on it. it has a miss when idling especially when it warms up and is in gear.it isn't a terrible miss like when a coil goes but its enough to annoy me. its not throwing any codes and i have replaced four of the coil packs and plugs so far and it doesn't make any difference i've been running lucas fuel injector cleaner and still no help.. any ideas? thank you for your time

Thanks, Bill, for taking the time to look at my post while you were at your sister's house. I really appreciate your time and advice. My wife and I are both enjoying the truck - I'll send you some pics if I can ever get the thing in new paint. (we're staying red) I found one of those great steel camper shells for it that will be painted too - it's turning into a great old truck. Thanks again for the advice - you're a wealth of information.

    Bill,

Thanks for your tip regarding my air-conditioning problem. My Ford dealer looked further into it after I refused to accept their explaination. They finally got to the bottom of it and replaced the temperature blend door actuator, which is what you thought it might be. Thanks again....Ambrosemario

Bill: just checking to see if you received my question about e-brake problem on my 2000 f-150, 4x4. Symptoms; light stays on, brake release inside cab doesn't seem to work completely, rear pads and rotors gone/scored. I'm about to remove the rotors and look behind them. Any advice would be much appreciated. Lewis Stockard, Miami, FL (lewis_stockard@hotmail.com)
