I am considering getting an american roll cover for my ford. After having it for a while have you had any issues with it? Do you feel it's more secure than other covers? I'm looking for something to better secure my expensive hunting and golf equipment.

Auto spring was the only one that I found that made an 1.5 kit, the other thing is that I live in the Florida Keys and corrosion is an issue for me, these are powder coated which helps alot. I'm very happy with it and it didn't change the great ride that these trucks have at all. You do have to get the front end realigned after you install them, anytime you change the front end suspension you need to. It took me a couple of hours to install. I'm really glad I didn't go with the 2 inch, for my truck it would have been to much. If you decide to get them let me know and I'll send you the link to company I got them from, they had great service.

Hey man, Ive been stalking you on you reading your threads....lol So why did you end up with the auto springs, are you happy, ride quality change?, any alignment issues?, I have been thnking about the 1.5 AS because i do not really want to raise my rear end unless I buy bags and that mainly for towing our camper.

The auto spring was the only 1 1/2 kit that I could find, as far as the design I actually looked at the hellbent 2 inch kit but I didn't want the aluminum block (just my preference) The auto spring is made of steel like the rest of the truck and powder coated. I run 3 shops that build high perf boat engines, that being said mechanically I have no problem with the design.
After I installed the kit I was really glad I didn't go with the 2 inch, it lifted my truck exactly 1 1/2. I'll get some pics in the next day or so and send them to you
If you decide to get the same kit let me know and I'll find the link from where I got mine.

hey man wondering if you can help. saw that you installed a 1.5 level in a post you made... was auto spring the only manufacturer of that size? their design seems not as strong as HBS from the picture

i am picking your brain cuz i have a tool box that has some weight and my rear is only about 1.5 higher than front like you said. yours came out level though? i am afraid to go too high because i dont want the front higher but i really want to decrease the CV angle as muc has possible

do you have any pics of the side straight on and of the CV angle/ upper ball joint??

    i appreciate it, thanks
