ive had many 4.6's but they are tempermental in my eyes.... ive had a few crown vics and a hoped up grand marquis with the 4.6 and they do fine in cars.... i still have my f250 if i really need to pull a house

because i dont really think the 4.6 and 5.4 make anymore power than this v6.... i have pulled everything with my 02 ...even a case bachoe... i pulled a 79chevy 1ton 44inch tsls front and rear winch bumpers ...468bb chevy... a very heavy ass truck... with my 02 auto 4.2 single cab flareside truck ..pulled it 160 miles... following a 5.3 z71 and a f150 5.4... they were towing lighter trucks... and i could stand with them trucks never had one problem... the z71 kept overheating the trans... and the 5.4 drank double the gas.... the only time they out pulled me was in towns... and they were getting on theres alittle harder... i played it safe and hung back a few times... ive never had a problem towing.... i just dont like new vehicals period... but i had to have a dependable vehical and since my 02 has did so good... my dad has it now and it does great still... i wanted a v6 again
