    ya thats what i had in mind. but i just got josh at teska or what ever it is called to sell me the caps for $18 buck each so i orderd them. bet the skull caps are chepper in black if i where you i would ask josh!

    Not sure I understand. Do you have black plastic tow mirrors now and want to swap your black cap for my chrome? That is what I had in mind. I want to retain my tow mirrors, just want black plastic caps (not PTM black). I have to take my chrome caps off the tow mirror, I assume it is very similar to the standard mirror disassembly process. I don't want to remove the mirrors from the door, just the caps (and mirror glass itself to get to the caps).

    I considered taking off the chrome caps, sand it down and paint it flat black, not sure how well it would hold up.
