I like my Edge programmer but the Gryphon which is a custom tuned Edge may be better. I heard the body lift's on a 04-08 F-150 are a pain to install. I'd look into a 4 or 6 inch supension lift instead of the body lift and leveling kit. Will cost more but better in the long run. Look at some of the lifted 4x2's on this site and ask them how they like their lift's. Get prices on both option's and do your homework on both, don't be scared to ask question's. Just my opinions and not trying to scare you away from what you want to accomplish with your truck!
Thank you for replying so quickly do you have any recomendations for the 2" lift in your opinion the guy at the shop i was talking to was being honest about the 3" lift i need to find rims that are at least 9" for the rim width or would it be safe to go to a 10 or 10.5 sorry for all the ?'s
On a 4x2 I would level the front 2 inches and go with a 285x70x17 all terrain. You will have to go with a wider wheel like a 9" with 5 inches of BS to get them to stick out. A taller tire can be adjusted to your speedometer and odometer with a programmer. The 285x70x17 is close to 33 inches tall, will look and work great on the stock wheels but won't stick out too much. The heavier and taller you go with tires the worse it get's on your tranny and brakes more so then the suspension.
