ONE MORE QUESTION, hopefully my last. I plan on buying the kit from him and using it as a 6" since it doesn't have the spacers. Would I just need to buy the rear box kit from BDS to make it work, or would I need the rear box + the AAL?

Thanks so much! All the info is greatly appreciated! I figures that you may have sanded, just because that was what I was reading around the forum. I will definitely get ahold of MoodyBlue though. Those emblems are a must have for me. I know the Ebay gent you spoke of, not personally, but I bought the overlay for the emblem on the steering wheel from him. I think he was doing somehting shady, because a couple days after I ordered he was gone and Ebay sent me a message that he had been removed for some sort of violation! Thankfully my order still came in a couple days after that! But thanks again for all your help!!!

And where or how did you get the overlay for the tailgate emblem? I see you changed the front assembly completely, but I'm looking to do the front and back EXACTLY how you have your tailgate emblem.

I'm looking to get those same red badges from tasca for my 07 FX2. I see the ones on your ride in your album, but can't really see the one on your tail gate. I heard that it is beveled in some way to only fit the 09- and up. They also said that it wouldn't fit in the OEM spot because of the angle or something like that. How did you manage to get it on?

what type of fender flares are those? oem or extend-a-fender?
