ya basically i went with flowtec they were cheap ( $300) and really easy to install like half an hour to an hour that was to bolt up to the motor and to bolt up to the new pipe i had bent and hook up the cherry bombs
-
Okay, so either way I would have to bend pipe around it. I was going to go with long tube at the beginning for the convienience. I replaced my gaskets on the shorty headders and let me tell you it's not an easy job lol. Plus long tube are so much better to make an exhaust from. So, if I got any long tube headders for a 5.0L truck engine, they should work as long as I bend the pipe around the t-case?
-
the transfer case is okay but you will have to get a piece of pipe bent around it or it will be in the way but it would be the same thing with shorties too
-
I was thinking on going with long tube headders on mine, but someone said that the transfer case would be in the way?

i like hearing the crack of the truck when you rev it but that wat i like .. not trying to tell you what to do or anything but i would go with long tube headers thats what i did because more power better mpg and cheaper and look better... i like that your going with vortex i think i am going to do that with mine here when i go to rebuild my 4x4 ... mine was 2 1/2 straight pipe to the glass packs then 2 turn downs
-
Hey, I have just a single glasspack right now. I see you have duels, they sound too crackly for me now, so I'm doing my exhaust over soon and going with shorty headers, duel inlet/outlet cherry bomb vortex, and two stainless 3" tips. Pipe all the way back being 2 1/2".

do you have duel cherry bomb exhaust rught now or just single
