hey everybody love the see all the ford lovers i hate chevy...i am looking at buying a 1995 ford f150 v8 5.0 5 speed 4x4 it ahs 128000 miles. it for for sale for 4995 i talked him down to 4200. the trucks body is in great shape. the interior is great obvisly the dash has a crack from the sun. i am just wanting it for the winter and to haul my dirt bike is this a good deal? now the engine makes a sound like the lifter is messed up but normally the lifter noise is loud correct

I saw you post about the speed sensor and posted a reply to the post. I now have a question about my truck. Do you know if it is possible to have the speed sensor fail and still have plenty of power? Right now my truck is shifting at high RPMs (4000 or so) when I accelerate normally. Then when the truck slows down 2-3 mph it drops a gear when I am at highway cruising speed (50-60 mph). Any help would be great.
