    Thanks!

    Nope, no noises coming from the rear(knock on wood). A clunking sound is usually the u-joint, not a bearing or transmission. The whining sound would be something like a bearing would/could make. I am not a mechanic, just work on my own vehicles because I can't afford to take them to the shop.

    Hey i just read your post about your rearend pinion. My truck is making the same sound and i believe its the same thing let me know how everything went with that. like how hard it was or what i need to do. thank you
