Right now I don't know of any good "holes" to play in, but I do know of some a couple of hours from here...I will let you know when I get ready to head out there, its near my hunting club in Vidalia...

hey man. I just got stationed down at Moody, and I have an 05 F150 level with the HBS kit sittin on 35s from Toyo. I just wanted to know if you know where any good mud holes are, and when youre available to go. The only other truck is my buddies 02 S10 ZR2, and if I get stuck im screwed so I need to go with another fullsize.

I personally don't have any issues and I pull my four wheelers about once a month. The taller tires do add additional strain. My programmer helps compensate for that though. I don't have as much jump as with the stock tires but you take the good with the bad. Regearing is the best way to bring the power back into the RPM range the engine was designed for. I have 3.73's and do fine. I have seen guys that have 3.55's with 35's and do okay. It is all about what type of performance you want vs. the look vs. the amount of money you are willing to spend. If money is no object, then regear to 4.56's with 35's. That will cost anywhere from $600 - $1000 for new gears. I got my programmer for less than $300 and I am happy with the results. If you plan on pulling a boat or enclosed trailer on a regular basis, definitely regear. Sorry so long but I was trying to give you the most information in a little spot. Let me know if you need anything else. I hope this helps.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. I'm probably just gonna stick to 2H down the track, don't have enough money yet to replace parts. And thanks for the story, my nephew keeps messing with it whenever he is in the truck and I when he rides with me he always attempts to turn it, someday may not be quick enough to stop him. Think I'll just keep him in the back seat; hahaha
