i bought my truck with the roll bar in it. as far as i know they do not sell them anymore because people thought they would help in case of a roll over however they are just for looks. its out of my truck now and i think i might paint it black or sell it. you can check ebay for them

hey man. thanks for the reply on my post. You know the wheels have to be a certain kind of person that likes them. I've always liked black and the younger style in vegas is kinda black rims. There the new moto metals and no one really has them thats why I switched to them. Ive chosen to keep the white inside b/c I'm not a fan of the outside. Like I said before though its ones own liking. Thanks for not bashing me but stating your opinion in a nice way. I appreciate that. People like you are good for the forums. Thanks again

That shouldn't be a problem,. I had the 4.6 in my 97 and no major problems over 230K miles.

Yeah, This one came with a lot of stuff I didn't need like Leather, Power Back Window, Power Sun Rook, Regency Shifter, but the price was right so I couldn't let it go. My 1997 ran 230,000 Miles with no major repairs so to buy a new one you really have to like that body style. Even if i did like it i would wait 2-3 years and get a used one with 20-30K miles

That's awesome. I have to agree with you there. I bought this truck a couple months ago stock and I went in and test drove the 09 and the rear end looked like a lincoln. I like the front grill and lights but I would have to say all the other changes were ugly including the new badges. So i ended up getting a FX4 Supercrew fully loaded with 30K miles for $3K less then a 09 2WD Super Cab STX

No Problem. Thanks, your truck looks strong. I had a 97 lifted before this one and I still love the 97-03 body style.
