Yeah i was told that too when i was deciding on my first set but I see so many people running 295/65, I'm gonna run them on the next set. I also wasnt super attentive to the exact measurements when deciding between the BFG 285/65 and the Ridge grappler 295/60 and 285/65. Thought the BFG were gonna be wide enough but oh well, they've been good to me.

Send some pictures over! I'd like to see them from a couple angles whenever you have time.

Thanks mason285. I went with the 285 65 in a nitto ridge grappler and I love them. They are wider and taller than the bfg 285. If u buy them at discount tire, u have 30 days to ride on them incase u do not like them and want the 295 65.. You cannot beat that deal or they're prices. I also have no spacers and they look great.. I've heard the 295 65 rubs so I went with the biggest 285 65 which are the ridge grapplers.

Hey mason285, I just purchased an f150 myself and I am undecided on tires between a 285//65/20 or a 295/60/20.. I see u have the 285s but I have read where u wish they were wider.. I'm looking at the nitto ridge grappler and in the 285s they are 34.8 inches tall which is a hair taller than the bfg's u have. I've heard the bfg's are smaller than the specs but idk so i'm hoping the nitto's are a true 11..5 inches wide.. What are your thoughts? Do u run spacers on your wheels and if so, how wide? Are the bfg's quiet? Whats your opinion between the 2 tire brands or what input could u give me on another brand? Thanks, Jason (BTW your truck looks awesome!)
