Hey thanks you have an awesome truck too!!! just like mine except black! I love my lights behind the grille. It was probably one of my favorite mods. I wasnt satisfied with the light from my projectors so i installed a pair of Hella 500FF's behind the grille. Now there is enough light. It is a easy install though. There is a plastic bar behind the grille that is perfect for mounting lights on. Just drill a couple holes and wire them up! Good luck!

ok then, yeah, your probably gunna have a bout a quater inch gap between your body and the light, but if you get the black ones, they wont show at all! if you look at mine you cant even notice!

hey bro, thanks, yeah i love the halos, but they arent an exact fit on the 97 cause its not a stock one piece light so there is a tiny gap, but 98s have a one piece if im not mistaken so you should be good! but they work great! super bright, the only bad thing is you cant go with hids, or so i think! and as long as you dont tint ypu dont tint the front windsheild, youll be striaght, and no, i didnt install them all by myself, i had a buddy of mines dad come and do the wiring for me cause i cant do wires for **** lol

There's a old trick you can use....tie a piece of twine to the fan blade and then off to the side of the engine bay securely....then when you turn your truck on and it comes up to the right temp it will kick on. If it breaks the string it's good....if the string holds it it's no good. Go to parts house and buy a replacement.
